NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010 Scores Even Crazier at Night

Friday, March 19, 2010

The NCAA basketball tournament 2010 scores surprised all afternoon. However the NCAA basketball scores during the night were a little more orderly. That doesn't mean there wasn't an upset or two, or at least a few
scares. With Kansas and Kentucky playing at night, it looked like order would be restored in some places. But even Kansas had a little bit of trouble last night, though they had far less than Georgetown, Marquette and New Mexico. By the end of the night, the NCAA basketball tournament 2010 scores formed an entire opening day of stunning twists and turns

The afternoon session had a buzzer beater, a double overtime opening game, and a 15 seed almost beating a 2. For good measure, the night session had a 14 seed destroying a 3, and a 16 seed briefly rousing hopes of an upset.
Lehigh was that dreaming 16 seed, and even after blowing a 12-4 lead to Kansas, they hung in heading into the second half. But this NCAA basketball tournament 2010 score finally reverted to form, as the Jayhawks pulled away for a 90-74 win. Kansas hopes for an easier time against ninth seeded Northern Iowa, which beat UNLV 69-66 on a last second three.

The most shocking of the NCAA basketball tournament 2010 scores last night had Georgetown getting knocked out. The Hoyas had been up and down all year, yet they looked way up after nearly winning the Big East title. That propelled them to a three seed, but 14th-seeded Ohio - which had a losing record in the MAC - handled Georgetown like they were a three seed.

The Bobcats slaughtered the Hoyas defense en route to a 97-83 upset, ending a horrible 1-3 day for the Big East as a while. Ohio next faces Tennessee, which held off a San Diego State rally, 62-59. But another six seed couldn't hold off a rally, as Marquette was caught by 11'th seed and Pac-10 champion Washington, 80-78. The Huskies next face New Mexico, another third seed that got a challenge, but finally beat Montana, 62-57.
