Australia vs Ireland:-
Castle Avenue, Dublin
June 17, 2010
Australia won the toss and elected to bat

James Hopes

The Aussies posted only 231-9 with Tim Paine proposes 81 and Paul Stirling and Kevin O'Brien from the wicket takers. Elected to bat, the Australian opener over 122 balls frames two sixes and five fours in the procedure. Paine was the wicket to all but the last six overs in the innings.

At 137 to three in 20 above, Ireland was completely placed to beat Australia for the first time. A mixture of Australian staying power and Irish self-doubt conspiracy finally give Australia victory, but the match gave extra proof of Ireland's trustworthiness and Australia's susceptibility.
