Google Forced to Reveal Identity of Offensive Blogger

Liskula Cohen is a Canadian-born model, best known for his appearance in fashion magazines as Vogue, Elle and Cleo. When she is exposed to a blog called shank in NYC, hosted on Google's Blogger, was referring to her as "shin" and "old bitch", she decided to compress Google to disclose the identity of the blogger through the law and the court now decided in her favor.


A quote is NOK to show signs of the blog: "How old is the shank? 40 something? She is psychotic, lying, whoring, and is still available for clubs for her age, shank." But blogs attorney argued, these comments are his opinion and exaggeration - Trash Talk, if you will - but Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Joan Madden decided that "the spirit of blogging is that it is a sexually wanton woman" and that Cohen is allowed to sue blogger of denigration .


It also means that Google is forced to disclose the identity of the blogger in question; an important step that will set a standard for future cases like this. Blogger on the issue has undoubtedly been very offensive to Cohen, which can be seen in the above reference. But as we all know, the Internet is full of offensive remarks and widespread negative perceptions of all kinds.

On the up, this review, people will think twice about posting offensive positions and clarify if any, that they are no longer protected by a shroud of anonymity.
