Two Men Die As Car In Shoalwater Horror Cash

In the car crash two young men in South Perth has described the picture as appalling. The car caught fire and both men died on the spot.

The two men in their twenties were in a high-powered car that was torn in two after it hit a tree on the side of Safety Bay road in Shoal water near Rockingham, about midnight.



Margaret Thomas lives several houses down from the accident and said she was tired of what she saw. "I am the great-grandparents, and it is every person's worst nightmare." Residents say it is the third serious accident on the part of the road in the past nine months. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

In a separate incident, a 16-year-old boy in hospital with serious head injuries after a hit and run in the northern suburb of Kinross. Police have appealed for public help to find tools that ran down a teenager who went along Marmion Avenue just before midnight (WSDT).

The newspaper skid marks are shown on the wrong side of the road, before the U-turn back and hit the tree. Officers investigating the accident, while police call for witnesses.
