Now days, summer season is gone away and comes to rainy season. In Gujarat, fall on more rain compare to other state so probability of comes cyclone in Gujarat. Due to probability of cyclone, Kutch and Saurshtra coastal areas have been put under high alert by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

The fishermen and workers in that area have been warned to stay away from the sea for the next 48 hours. A cyclone alert has been put up in those areas. It has been reported by the Met department that a cyclone called “Phet” with a wind speed of 120 kilometer/hr might hit the coast in the next 48 hours.

The depression over Arabian Sea moved north-westwards and lay centred about 1,030 km south-west of Naliya in Gujarat on Tuesday. Gujarat coastal areas are likely to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by a storm with a wind speed of 55-65 kilometer/hr.
