Types Of Pollution Essay

There are many types of pollution such as waste & water pollution, sound pollution, chemical pollution, etc…The types of pollution can be explained as follows:


>Air pollution: when the presence of one or more contaminants in the atmosphere is of such Quality & it is injurious to Human being, animal, & plant it is known as air pollution. Air is polluted due to Human being. Air is polluted by different types of chemicals, & destroying of forest. The effect of Air pollution is that it has led to thinning of the ozone layer of the atmosphere. The pollution problem has been increased more as the motor bikes run in the road & there are many industries which produce many type of chemicals, coal, oil & spoil the atmosphere. The Air pollution accident caused in Meuse valley in Belgium, in 1948 Donora, pennysylvania & in 1952 in London due to which many people died in this problem. Different types of Air pollution are mentioned here:

>Gaseous – Carbon monoxide, particulate smoke, pesticides, Aerosol sprays…
>Inorganic - hydrogen fluoride.
>Organic – Mercaptans.
>Oxidizing substances – Ozone.
>Reducing substances – Oxides of sulfur.
>Inert substance – pollen or fly ash.

The types of pollution can be explained in such a way:

>Waste & water pollution: The waste materials which are toxic that enters the lakes, streams, rivers, oceans, etc…It gets dissolved in water deposited on the bed. This affects the aquatic ecosystem. The synthetic detergents & the soap extracted from petrochemical industry are harmful to health & to the life of water.

>sound pollution: The unwanted sound is known as sound pollution. The noises from machines, Aeroplane, crackers, etc are harmful to living being. The noises from construction work, industries, factories, traffic jams, etc…are uncontrollable. It is not only the source of irritation but also tightens the arteries & increases the flow of adrenaline.

>chemical pollution: There are several types of chemical pollution such as domestic household, accidents & spills at sea, mining, & oil rigs. Constant pollution includes pesticides, such as DDT, industrial chemicals, etc…

>land pollution: It is the pollution of Earth’s natural land by industrial, commercial, domestic & other agricultural activities. Land is polluted due to Human being of the world. As the people throw the dust here & there the land gets polluted. The common sources of land pollution are chemical, industrial factories, human sewage, debris from construction work & deforestation. The way to stop it is to recycle everything.
