Although you laugh like Sachin tangle their way to a catastrophe to another, the film shows a light cheerful nature, degree of corruption and the rampant corruption in the system and how awesome you do need to survive. Enjoy the bumpy ride.
A movie starring Akshay Kumar, in a goofy role has become an annual affair for Bollywood. Look at the list and you will see that all of them are almost similar to each other. When Hera-Pheri first came out it was like a breath of fresh air. He went on repeat his acts, in movies like Singh is kinng,Chandni-Chowk to China to name a few. Sadly, this formula is showing its age, with his expressions and acting becoming more predictable by each release.
The movie is the remake of the popular “Vellanakalude Naadu”, a 1988 Malayalam flick. The movie’s sole objective is to raise awareness about the dominant bribery and corruption prevalent in government offices today and that is presented with a flash of humor.
The plot of the movie unravels when akshay kumar (Sachin Tichkule), a road contractor is not able to get past the government hurdles which obstruct his dreams and is forced to turn up to the Municipal commissioner only to find out that she is her ex-girlfriend.
