Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar Visited alling cartoonist RK Laxman Hospital in Breach, whose character in his latest film Khatta Meetha is base on Laxman’s iconic, visited 86 year old Laxman on Saturday to “get blessings” for the film, Bollywood goes to promote a film, “tweeted VJ Nikhil Chinapa” innovative ideas to promote films. However, Akshay defends himself by saying, “I was invited by Mr Laxman’s family, as they thought it would be nice to meet the man that is bringing to life his legendary comic. And anyone who sees my smile by his bedside in any other way than love has a cold heart!”

And the Big B wrote on Twitter, “Your fraternity never fails to club the standards of our fraternity. In fact it doesn’t believe we have any. One of your colleagues just called Akshay Kumar a `jackass` ..! Is this your `aspiration` for `higher standards`..!! Would your fraternity have spared Akshay if he were to address you as one..?? Akshay Kumar next movie Khatta Meetha Scheduled for release on July 23. It is directed by Priyadarshan and has Trisha Krishnan in the female lead role.
