There have been many rumors, speculations and rumors will, but tonight at The Big Beat truth be revealed. I get to be the town touting for the official announcement of Lollapalooza 2010 talent line-up shortly before midnight on a special extended edition of The Big Beat. We Äôll release show with an extra half hour to run down the roster and playing songs by so many of the artists that would play on Äôll Grant Park 6-8 August as we can.

This year AOS festival is a specially selected group of electro-dance pop, modern indie-rock pillars and some actions that are old enough to remember the festival, AOS original Early-1990, AOS incarnation.

The highly rumors headliners were actually confirmed and includes reunited thoroughly's Soundgarden, eyeliner-punks Green Day, new millennium-Madonna Lady GaGa, epic indie-soul rockers Arcade Fire, New York City garage wake The Strokes, and French pop machine Phoenix. Other notable acts include MGMT, Spoon, The Black Keys, Social Distortion, Devo, Cypress Hill, Girzzly Bear, Erykah Badu, Dirty Projectors, The xx and Mavis Staples.

Lollapalooza will confirm the 2010 headliners previously reported in the Tribune and other news sources: Lady Gaga, Soundgarden, Green Day, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, and Phoenix. The organizers will also announce the rest of the 124-artist lineup for their 6-8 August festival in Grant Park.

The mix includes veteran acts and newcomers on their first album. Although there are signs of R & B artists, a splash of Exotica and even a reggae artist, AOS, the vast majority of music is all about guitar-based rock music and electronic music, with a significant line of Perry, DJ scene.
