Samsung Launched 'Baba' Smartphone Platform In India

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. is a leading mobile company which has launched its new smartphone platform "bada" in India. The ‘bada’ platform was launched at the Global Developer Day organized by Samsung Electronics in Bangalore today.

The platform is based on open-standards and the name ‘bada’ means ocean in Korean language.Some of the salient features of the platform include ‘User-interactive, Service-oriented, Open and configurable.

Samsung bada offers a feature-rich, ‘open’ platform for providing enhanced mobile experiences to consumers, and a complete mobile ecosystem through a developer support program that both the developers and consumers will benefit from.

Samsung also launched a new Samsung bada Developer Challenge offering $ 2,700,000 in total prize money with the winner standing a chance to win $ 300,000.
