IPL 2010 : Delhi daredevils vs mumbai indians (MI vs DD) Highlight Videos
The Mumbai innings looked lost for the most part. To start with, Jayasuriya was missing (replaced by Luke Ronchi) – not sure if there was some injury or just a change in squad. However in the midst of all that, Ashish Nehra was irritable as he often is, taking down Dinesh Karthik today. What’s with Nehra and keepers. Years back, it was Dhoni.
Delhi approached the chase without too much of a flourish and this allowed a twist midway through, when Duminy (4-15-1) and Harbhajan Singh (4-21-1) came on. The leap of runs-required over deliveries-available seemed to be a case of Dilshan and de Villiers caught cautiously surprised by the sudden turn of events. A 19 run Tendulkar over appeared to hand the game back to Delhi, though it was more likely that the two experienced players felt it wise to see out the spin twins and take on the other Mumbai bowlers, considering Malinga had only 1 over left. So, Tendulkar in the post-match thing appeared to be taking more blame than realistically necessary cos the truth is you’d back Dilshan and AB to get you home with this sort of a target.
