Roberto Mancini hope returning Emmanuel Adebayor from suspension will raise Manchester City's top four chances.

City currently trail Tottenham and Liverpool to win champion League football next season, but with Adebayor set to return to action against Wigan Athletic on Monday evening, Mancini is hoping for a timely boost.

Sixth-placed City has been without his nine goals tip of his last four games after his red card for violent conduct during last month's 3-1 FA Cup fifth round replay defeat against Stoke City.

"If we can play with Manu and Carlos (Tevez) for the remaining matches, I think we'll be fine, so they seem to have a very good understanding."
"We've missed a lot of Emmanuel and his return will give us a boost for the run in," he told the club's official website.

Cleary is skeptical of Manly's "world-class back-rowers Anthony Watmoughs and Glenn Stewart, particularly when working on the right edge of the big winger Tony Williams.

The warrior have given 19 year old winger Bill Tupou his first class debut at the blade rather than blockbusting Vatuvei.

Speaking of City top four chances, Mancini added: "I think all the teams around us some difficult matches in the next month, so something can happen.

"He had to play more minutes than we had expected."
