Love and Other Drugs is a romantic comedy as of late is a genre that tends to be unnoticed. There are not two strikes, but it's close. And it is co-written and directed by Ed Zwick, who unfortunately has a tendency to make films which are also unremarkable. But the film is also a form of Brokeback Mountain reunion in that it puts Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway back in the same cast.

Apple has the trailer in HD, and I'll let the synopsis below do all the work collecting plot. I can not help enjoying Gyllenhaal when he's not running around in orange landscape of Prince of Persia. The trailer is all high-watt charm from the two wires, or an attempt to provide some, at least. And I will not even pretend to be resistant to Hathaway when she tries to turn on the charm that she is definitely not here.

Love and Other Drugs is a drama film based on the book by Jamie Reidy, set for release on 24 November 2010. Talk about Anne Hathaway opportunities to secure an Oscar nomination for her performance as Maggie, a woman with Parkinson's, has been flooded for a long time now, as the trailer for Love and Other Drugs with Jake Gyllenhaal and directed by Edward Zwick has just arrived.

Reidy begins a relationship with Maggie, while one of their sales calls. Their love story takes place in the political and social context of the time. Oliver Platt, Hank Azaria, Josh Gad and Gabriel Macht co-star. Maggie and Jamie's developing relationship takes both a surprise when they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate ingredient: love.

A nice romantic comedy tale. The second half was much better than the first half. In some portions this movie was really very touchy and raises so many questions that society need to think upon.
