Tornado Warning For Eastern NYC

NYC was hit with 5 micro-tornadoes are upturning trees, cars moving, disrupting rail and highways to within about 20 minutes. It normally takes me 30-40 minutes to get home at 8:30 at nite. It takes 60 to 90 minutes. This traffic was about 5X worse - it looked like a post-nuclear war. I was in the car for an hour just to get out of the tunnel, and an hour before I got 2 miles east of the tunnel.


A powerful storm swept through part of New York City Thursday night, killing one person, move vehicles and uprooting trees. National Weather Service had issued a Tornado Warning on Thursday afternoon, but has not yet decided whether a tornado actually formed. There are also some reports of minor injuries in the area.
