Maryada Ramanna is the story of an ordinary man hearts Ramu, who hunted factionists for a murder committed by his father. The girl whom he meets on the train reveals she is in love with him, and Ramu, who was then running for his life determined to stand by her and also get the enemy's heart. The love angle is only part of the story where the film shows how the main character escapes from the sword that hangs uncertain neck.
