"Technical errors in the last year raised doubts about the possibilities of using computer-based testing. Over two lakh candidates are expected to emerge. The test will be conducted online in about 78 centers across 33 cities in a staggered form, and it will end on 24 November.

In all, 204,267 candidates have registered for CAT-2010, with the highest number recorded in Maharashtra, where 30 296 candidates have registered for the test. This year, many candidates feel the need to be equipped with information to navigate the online test. Over 9,000 computers distributed to 240 laboratories in 78 test centers in 33 cities will be used to manage the CAT.
