HP has launched the "Slate 500, 'tablet device that will compete with Apple iPad, trusts, Cisco, Samsung and RIM Galaxy Tab Play Book as it looks to win hearts in the increasingly crowded segment. We have heard about HP Slate for a while now, the guys over at Crunch Gear has managed to get their hands on the new HP 500 Slate Windows 7 Tablet.



HP says that the tablet is designed specifically for users who want the privacy of Microsoft Windows 7 and the ability to run custom or corporate applications. " HP Slate 500 is a tablet designed for businesses, rather than the consumer market, and is designed for use in retail, medicine, and many other areas of business environments.
