Growing up, a visit to my grandparents 'house usually consisted of repeated see Singin' in the Rain or The Sound of Music. The original cast of the Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music will reunite for the first time in 45 years on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Oct. 29 The Sound of Music reunion on Oprah was nothing less than impressive since the Sound of Music cast celebrated the 45th anniversary of the film with a reunion. Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer will both be shown next to the stars who played the fictional von Trapp family in the Oscar-winning 1965 movie musical, "said Harpo Productions. Andrews, 74, played the naughty nun turned governess Maria in the popular movie and Plummer, now 81, is best remembered as the stern Captain von Trapp, who leads his family out of Austria just before World War II. The entire cast has been together for a conversation when the movie! Both Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer was on hand for The Sound of Music Oprah reunion - Christopher Plummer was 34 when they filmed the Sound of Music, Julie Andrews was 28 when she was thrown.

Rosie O'Donnell shared memories of desire Maria came to her home as a child and fall in love with her father after her mother had passed away. Some of the real von Trapp children, who travels the world performing the songs made famous by the film will also show up and pay homage to the movie on TV shows. Oprah's Sound of Music reunion also featured a performance by the singing group The Von Trapp Children, which includes members of the real Von Trapp family.
