Friday Night Lights Season 5

Thursday, October 28, 2010

The fifth and final season of Friday Night Lights premieres Wednesday, October 27 on DirecTV, and a new clip of actual footage shows that the story is really to pack up. Tonight, fans of the critically acclaimed series Friday Nights Lights must begin to say goodbye to Coach Taylor, Tami, Julie, Matt, Landry, East Dillon High, and the many other characters that we come to know over the years. Season premiere of "Friday Night Lights" feels a bit like the first day of school.

Friday Night Lights Season 5
Landry leave Dillon for college and Juliet promises him an epic night. Tonight's season 5 premiere marks the beginning of the end. It's a nervous guess that hangs over the show. Fortunately, there are still thirteen episodes of these great characters and wonderful, engaging story that takes in before this series officially coming to an end. Julie is also leaving, but not before some quality father-daughter time. The drama is there, but it is the periphery that have been cleared up only to residents of the fictional town of Dillon, Texas, muck it all up during the season.

Taylor family is so tight that I suspect the big, strong, manly coach will be much more broken up by her departure than Tami. Tami set itself up as a potential counselor at East High Dillon, Matt & Julie realizes that they now live in two different worlds and Tim Riggins went to jail to cover for his brother. As for introductions, it's a bad girl named Epyck, as in Episode 1 is only suggested, and they are worn, the happy-hour-teacher organization, Laurel, who may or may not give our counselor Tami Taylor quite some problems. "Friday Night Lights" airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on DirecTV's 101 Network.
