Air India Crew Members and Maintenance Engineers on Flash Strike

More than 15000 Crew members and maintenance Engineers from the Air India had a flash strike in India Tuesday struck carrier operations, according to airport sources.



An Air India official said, however, air operations were "normal, and management has no information on the strike."

Airport sources said Air India Crew members and Maintenance Engineers went on strike for their various demands, including delays in payment of salaries.

"There were 4-5 questions for the strike, and the last was a joke issued by the management. There is 12 000 engineers and crew of Air India with us and operations are severely affected," said Anand Prakash, general secretary of the Air Corporation Employees Union (ACEU ).
