Today, 25 May, has been a day of great importance. Two major writers Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett, has made May 25 a day to remember. Back in 2001, two weeks after the death of Douglas Adams fans began Towel Day.
Also on 25 May we now celebrate the work of Terry Pratchett and awareness and money for Alzheimer's disease. In Pratchett's book Night Watch, the men who fought and died in the Revolution will be remembered by people who bear purple "every May 25. Bringing the tradition in the real world, Pratchett fans now wearing purple twigs to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer . You can even buy a spring here. Or you can just pick a little. But it would be a lot of money for Alzheimer's research
