Nissan Launches Micra In India

Nissan Motors announced the launch of its new car Nissan Micra in India. Sales of Nissan Micra will begin in July 2010. This is the first Indian Micra car coasting starting price Rs 450000.



Toshiyuki Shiga, Chief Operating Officer at Nissan Motor Company was present at Oragadam, factory installation company in the country and said that the new launch was Nissan's response to the needs of the Indian driver and be a part of the rapidly Automotive in India.

Nissan's Global Compact Car Micra will Ofer two engine options, a new vacuum motor HR121.213 cylinder petrol 80ps/108Nm torque and a supercharged 1.21 direct injection iteration with start stop system 98ps/142Nm of tourque. Also Micra units will be equipped with a 5speed manual transmission or Nissan's new variable transmission (CVT).


Nissan Micra appear in all Nissan showrooms across the country from tomorrow. The company has also decided to start pre-order bookings for the Micra in all these showrooms. Customers can visit these showrooms and order his car against an initial order amount of Rs 50,000.
