Weezer to Release Death to False Metal

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Hot on the heels of the recently released Hurley, Weezer will release Death to False Metal 2 November. Death to False Metal is not a traditional collection of studio debris or songs from the vault, but an entirely original follow-up Weezer's just-released Hurley. The album, which was co-produced by Shawn Everett, was apparently created using the basic tracks of ten previously unreleased recordings, nine never-before-heard songs plus a cover "to put together an entirely new and very modern-sounding record."
