Discovery Channel's adventure series "Man vs. Wild" with the host, Bear Grylls was filmed in the Little River gorge back in March, and the episode is set to the first show Wednesday night at 9 pm on Discovery Channel.

Tommy destroy Alabama Film Office helped the manufacturers to explore the areas in Alabama, which highlights the state's natural beauty in a remote shack place. Producers were also looking for places that would require the existence of aggressive life situations.

"After Scouting locations across Alabama were steadfast that the Little River Canyon had all the elements that show producers are looking for," said Fell. "It has a natural beauty, natural world, and is in such a remote area that can set the endurance skills to the test that viewers will see Wednesday night during the premiere.


When Little River Canyon was selected as the region, Israel Partridge of True Adventure Sports in Ft. Payne and Location Manager Craig McCraw of Eutaw, provided the location and ecological assistance.

"The filming of" Man vs. Wild "would not have happened without the help of Craig and Israel," Fell said. "They ga a tremendous knowledge of the region and apparatus for the production crew.

The establishment company Diverse Bristol, traveled from England with a crew of 15 and spent three weeks in Alabama working on logistical information, and environment. The harmonized licensing and film policy for Little River Canyon National Preserve with the National Park Service and the Alabama Department of Conservation.
