Jennifer nettles
She has been on vocal rest in the last few weeks, but Sugarland's Jennifer nettle has much to say when it comes to negative comments some fans posted on the bulletin board after learning that Sugar Land had to cancel some shows. The singer, who was under doctor's orders to take a break from performing to heal her strained vocal cords, she was both comforted and disappointed some of the comments.
"I'm not surprised that the capacity of humans to be wild volleyball and football - and not completely and totally disrespectful and idiotic, Jennifer tells Music City TV, adds:" I understand that people are disappointed and they love us and they love what we do. And they love what we do so much that they want robots and we could do it every second of every day and never have a cold or something. "
Jennifer's vocal problems flared up during the recording sessions with singing partner Kristian Bush, causing the duo to cancel dates on Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival Tour, including one in San Francisco - a cancellation many fans did not realize until they reached the admission procedure gates. Kenny himself was irritated with the outcry, saying: "It was really sad to see how some people reacted to Jennifer had to cancel his appearance in San Francisco ... we should all be worried about the long-term vocal health more than any single show that she could not do.
"It's very frightening, Jennifer tells CMT Insider." Because you think, "Okay, I can go out there - and I can do tomorrow - but I can not make the rest of the year if I make it tomorrow." And it is frightening. And that's when you say: "Wait a minute. Let us go back."
Sugar Land back to the concert stage last Thursday (July 30) in Bend, Oregon To see Superstar duo live in concert tonight (Aug 3) at 8:00 ET on ABC TV special "Live on the inside."
