First came Morimoto in Napa, and now comes word of another Iron Chef to open a Bay Area restaurant. Cat Cora has signed on to open a branch of Cat Cora's Que in the future Terminal 2 project at SFO. The Biggie's Napa Farms Market, which tastes of Flight. Done in the style of the Ferry Building, will include Tyler Florence rotisserie concept would Vino Wine Bar, Cowgirl creamery, Acme Bread, Three Twins Ice Cream, Equator coffee and more to come. This week, the participants are united with celebrity chef Cat Cora.

Her charity, Chefs for Humanity, also raises funds to fight hunger in the world. Today we get more familiar with the cornucopia that is grown locally in our community, and putting into production a few years ago could only be identified by the chefs and farmers. Everyone attending the event will receive a signed copy of Cora's "classics with a twist" cookbook.

The fourteen candidates will fight for a decent chef challenge and compete for $ 250,000 prize and the opportunity to publish their own cookbook. The cat was very down to earth and answered questions about her book, her cooking experiences and her TV work, and how she balances work and family. Is from Mississippi, called her a number of southern favorites and favorites from her Greek heritage.

Last week Keith and I were invited to participate in the Macy's Culinary Council event with Chef Cat Cora. The only female Iron Chef in the history of the show, she prefers to stick to a television arena instead of multi-tasking on many channels. Estes has cooking American classics and comfort foods that she updates with the best local ingredients from Sonoma County.
