HGTV 'Design Star "Winner Styles Victory

Sunday, August 22, 2010

On HGTV's "Design Star, a dozen designers" have that dream, but only one (per season) can understand it. The final showdown on HGTV's Design Star was between Emily Henderson and Michael Miller. These two went head to head with their best designs of the season, which will make one of them win. Emily and Michael were both allowed to choose their teammates from former participants in the show, and they help one of the two finalists in the show.

Michael chose Nina as his client because according to him, she is the lioness who eats their own kids. Michael's "Design Revolution" still needs a better title, but his concept is strong, and his entire segment has great energy and humor. Michael Miller was 30 years old from New York; evening, Michael lost his bid to win, while Casey Noble of Redondo Beach took third place.

Finally, it was pretty obvious that Emily's design was much better than Michael's design and that's why Emily won this season of HGTV Design Star. Michael's "Design Revolution" still needs a better title, but his concept is strong, and his entire segment has great energy and humor. We see a promo for their first show, which airs for a week of Aug. 29. It will be called "Secrets of a Stylist" or something.
