For the first time since 1992, modified Little League World Series tournament format significantly. The four winners of those pools will advance to the next round single elimination tournament that ends with the World Championship. Two games from the U.S. bracket and only one game from the international bracket was on schedule for Wednesday, the Ohio vs. Hawaii game started the day.

Championship games from both brackets will be played on Saturday twenty August 8, but they must come through the last two days of pool play before taking place. There is hope for the young baseball to continue to win like they did in 2008. Alex Schutter appointed on a play that looked like it would load the bases in Ohio with no outs. The winner will face North on Thursday evening at 7 at Lamade Stadium. Ohio-Hawaii winner has to beat north twice to move into the U.S. championship game Saturday.

Fairfield American became the first team from the city to play in Williamsport in the 64-year history LLWS. The game started much like Sunday's contest; Auburn grabbed a 2-0 lead, before the Fairfield American came to bat. Quinn then walked to load the bases, only to have Connor Daley hit in one inning last double play. Games originally scheduled for 4 pm and 8:00 Tuesday was pushed back a day.
