Ivory shines in Saints win Preseason

New Orleans Saints should have picked another exciting young running back from consecutive undrafted in New Orleans. Rookie Chris Ivory turned a stone into a tackle-breaking, zig zag, 76-yard score in New Orleans, '36-21 preseason period victory over the San Diego Chargers on Friday evening. Ivory's 45 yards rushing and 76 yards receiving were the most by any player in the game.



Saints as undrafted rookie in 2007. Drew Breese sets the tone for New Orleans (2-1) with 240 meters past, including touchdowns to Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem. New Orleans Saints' offense as sharp as they upended San Diego Chargers 36-21 in the preparation phase of the game at the Super Dome. The Saints' defense gave up a touchdown on the opening drive, but limited to the Chargers a big part of the game.

Drew Breese completed 18 of 27 attempts for 240 meters and threw two touchdown passes, including a 46-yard to Devery Henderson. The Saints (2-1) wrap up the preparatory phase Thursday at Tennessee Titans. The Chargers fell to 1-2. Drew Breese was surrounded in the back field and had reached in his pocket. But before crossing the line of scrimmage, which he mixed the ball to Bush in the apartment.
