Larry Dean

The
32 000 square north Fulton County mansion, once known as the largest house in Atlanta, has a new owner। And it only took 15 years and a $ 25,000,000 price reduction to seal the agreement. News from the sale of Dean Gardens is also a little anti-climax. The home will soon be demolished. Dean Gardens is a modern neo-classical property built in 1992. The farm itself is about 32,000 square feet.

Hundreds of construction workers, master woodworkers, builders, landscape professionals and managers work together to transform 60 acres of raw, rolling meadows on the Chattahoochee River in what may well be America's most elegant property. Carriage House, with another 10,000 square feet, has two-bedroom apartment, office and laundry plus parking for a dozen cars. Dean Gardens was last listed at $ 13,900,000.

Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty had been on and off the market for the past 15 years, starting at $ 20 to $ 40,000,000. The property in Johns Creek was made by Larry Dean, a software entrepreneur. Property 58 acres of elaborate gardens, two carriage house apartment, a caretaker's cottage, a wedding chapel, Asian tea garden, grass tennis courts, amphitheater, winter garden, lake and an 18 hole golf course. Dean Gardens has long been the benchmark as poor architecture and horrible interior design can be measured by the U.S.
