Window World Hits Fundraising goals
Window World, the nation's largest replacement window company, has raised $ 1,500,000 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the world's leading centers for research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. The $ 1500000 goal that the company has been less than two years ago after a business partner of St. Jude and represents the total cost of operating the hospital for a day.
A Marine Corps and Gulf War veteran himself, Scott felt it necessary to provide the park with funds to create and distribute the Gulf War Memorial Wall, which had been created because of budgetary constraints. Under this project, including Scott Williamson heard the story of Lisa Otto, mother of Norman Cain, III, who was killed in Iraq in 2009. Through an auction company and employee donations, the group raised $ 500 000 in just three hours.
The highlight of the event was the auction of two specially designed Window World feed, and built by Paul Teutul Sr., owner of Orange County choppers and star of the hit TLC reality show "American Chopper". Window World sells as much as to install more than one million of high quality residential replacement windows annually. Window World Cares will be made in corporate partner St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
