The Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff finally stumbled into town Sunday night featuring a panel crawling with Howard Stern Show friends and regulars. At the tail end of the past century, I found myself trapped inside the famed American hotel in Amsterdam by a massive crowd blocking the entrance. The roast we've all been waiting for is finally here. Regular roasters Pam Anderson, Seth MacFarlane, Whitney Cummings, Greg Giraldo, Lisa Lampanelli, and Gilbert Gottfried teamed up with Hulk Hogan (awesome) and George Hamilton (really?) to mock, tease, and eventually destroy the spirit of David Hasselhoff. Jerry Springer and The Hoff himself talked sex with costars, while Pam Anderson and Hulk Hogan went after Tallahassee's acting ability and career trajectory. But the main focus of the evening was the infamous cheeseburger video in which David drunkenly ate fast food off the floor. The "Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff" promises to be a hilarious night. In the preview clips, we have the Hoff insinuating he's slept with some "Baywatch" babes (no surprise there) and taking a shot at Pamela Anderson.



Hulk Hogan kinda misses the mark with a toilet joke that involves Lisa Lampanelli. The Hulk aside, we think the roast is going to be pretty hysterical. It taped on Aug. 1, but airs Sunday, Aug. 15 at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central. The lineup includes the aforeseen Anderson, Ross, Hogan, Lampanelli and also Seth MacFarlane, George Hamilton, Nicole Eggert, Whitney Cummings, Gilbert Gottfried, Jerry Springer and more. Foul-mouthed frau Lisa Lampanelli hit the dais along with HSS regulars Gilbert Gottfried and Greg Giraldo. Roaster and comedienne Whitney Cummings is another Howard Stern Show connection. Cummings has made multiple appearances on HSS and came in second during the show's "Funniest Hottest Chick" contest in 2008.Perpetual Howard Stern Show guest Hulk Hogan and official second-greatest guest in HSS history Pamela Anderson also roasted the hamburger binging, alcoholic Baywatch-star-turned-talent judge.

Seth MacFarlane is David Hasselhoff's roastmaster. Comedy Central Roast of Howard Stern Show pal Joan Rivers featured HSS news mistress Robin Quivers herself. The 2008 Roast of Bob Saget was supposed to feature HSS co-host Artie Range, but the comedian was struggling with substance abuse issues and missed the event.
