The good news for all his fans is that he is perfectly okay and the cars safety level proved to be perfect. The incident took place while he was driving on Sunday evening in California. The traffic officers have stated that he was not drunk and he was also not over speeding. The officer also stated that the actor was absolutely in his senses and he was quite cooperative.


Mel stated that he was not sleeping or talking on his cell phone but he just could not know when his 2008 Maserati left the track and got hit. Gibson cooperated with police and was collected from the scene by a friend.
